    No marble lobbies, no sales armies: just engineers, clinicians, and a regulatory folder that never stops growing. A look inside how we actually work.

    Medical AI companies look a certain way from the outside: press releases, conferences, funding announcements. The inside is usually quieter, and stranger than you'd expect.

    01The four folders

    Our company runs on four parallel tracks:

    1. The engineering track: the product. Models, pipelines, integrations.
    2. The clinical track: the evidence. Validation studies, test rounds, collaboration with clinicians.
    3. The regulatory track: the paperwork that is actually the product. CE marking, quality management, documentation. This is where most medical device companies spend the most time, and it's invisible from the outside.
    4. The survival track: grants, funding, sales. The engine that keeps the other three running.

    02The timeline problem

    Most people assume medical AI moves fast because AI moves fast. In reality, the regulatory clock is slower than the engineering clock. You build a model in months; you spend years proving it works safely, documenting how, and getting permission to use it. The companies that survive are the ones that internalize this early.

    03What it means for the clinicians who join us

    Because we are small, clinicians who work with us touch everything: not just "the AI part". They help define problems, review outputs, design validation, and talk to hospitals. That exposure is rare and valuable: in three years at a small medtech company, a clinician sees more of the real lifecycle than most will see in a decade at a large institution.

    04What it means for partners

    We are honest about where we are on the TRL scale, what is validated, and what is not. We believe that honesty is the only viable strategy when your customers are hospitals: because the regulator, the clinician, and the patient will all eventually ask the same questions.
